  • TAPAS, PINXOS..

Pintxos are the Basque version of tapas, and “going out for pintxos” is also common in Barcelona. A great place to enjoy these snacks is Euskal Etxea, a well-known restaurant that offers a wide range of pintxos such as the chicken with tempura and saffron mayonnaise, the melted Provolone cheese with mango and Spanish ham or the mini pork brochette. At weekends the custom is to go to a few bars sampling tapas and homemade vermouth. Some of the most popular bars in the city are Calders, la Pepita and l’Electricitat.
